I am traveling to WDW with my husband and an 11 years old daughter and 5 years old son from Dec. 22nd to Dec 27th. What do you recommend for Christmas Eve? Unfortunately I was not able to make reservations in any theme park restaurant.

    Hello Odette!

How very exciting to be spending the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort!  You are in for such a magical and festive vacation.

If you visit the Dining Reservations page and input your party size, date and which meal, a comprehensive list of all available locations and times will appear for you.  Currently, I still see a few theme park locations listed, however, personally I would probably choose to visit the Downtown Disney Area and dine in one of the lovely locations there.  Although it seems a bit nontraditional, Splitsville Luxury Lanes is one of my family's favorite dining locations and since the spirit of Christmas is all about family for us, why not spend a fun evening knocking down pins together? My family loves bonding over a little healthy competition!  The other great thing about the Downtown Disney Area is, there are so many locations to choose from and a plethora of great shopping destinations to scoop up those last minute gifts.

I hope I have been able to assist you in planning your Christmas Eve, but if there is anything else I may help with, please send me another question.  Have a very merry trip, Odette!

    Seasons Greetings,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
