I am traveling to WDW 1/13-1-18. Have 6g and 3b and we will arrive 7:50PM at airport and use Disney to transportation to Ft Wilderness Cabins. Is there anywhere we will be able to get dinner at this time of night? Thanks

    Lynda:

It usually takes about 1 1/2 hours from the time your plane touches down to the time you get checked into your resort--and I'd add on an additional 15 to 20 minutes since you're staying in the cabins.  With that said, I think your kids would be hungry and probably not in the mood to hop on a bus to Downtown Disney to find a restaurant (as Trail's End at the fort would probably be closed).

    Two suggestions:
    1. Since you're staying in the cabins, consider ordering some groceries from www.gardengrocer.com and have them waiting in your cabin for a late-night snack.  You might even want to ask fellow Disney Mom Kay about her recent experience with garden grocer at the fort.  Just visit her via her bio page.
    2. Grab something at the food court at the airport.  The Orlando airport has quite an array of restaurants at the main terminal.
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
