We are traveling to WDW as first timers with a 9 and 4yrs old. Are the Dining plans worth the cost? We want to enjoy our time without planning around dining options, will we be spending our time trying to find the locations that we are allowed to eat at?

    Hi Tiffany,

Congrats on planning your first Walt Disney World vacation. In my experience the dining plan is worth the cost if you plan on eating all of your meals on property. It's also a great way to budget for your vacation. Most of the restaurants on property take the dining plan.

I'd definitely recommend booking your table service restaurants in advance. The restaurants do book up early, and if you wait, you may find very limited availability, especially for the more popular locations. You can make advance dining reservations 180 days in advance.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
