We are traveling to WDW in a few days. Chef Mickey and Be Our Guest are full for our travel days. How would we check with them on the days we are there to see if there is a cancellation that we might be able to use?

    Hi Andi!
Although "walk-ups" are not guaranteed, sometimes you may get lucky. I have done a walk-up at Chef Mickey's and been seated. Be Our Guest may be a bit more tricky, but one NEVER knows.
The key is to inquire during "off-peak" mealtimes and Cast Members will do their very best if there is any way to get you in. For example, my family and I are early risers and were staying at the Contemporary. At the urging of the hostess the night before, I was first in line the next morning (most guests do not like the very early morning) and my family was the first one seated. So, it's possible. But you need a bit of pixie dust for luck and a pleasant demeanor. Wow them with your kindness!
Cancellations happen every day/all day and you just never know what may be available. Stay positive and persistent.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
