Hi! We are traveling to WDW in February with our 4yr old and 1yr old. We are looking to stay in a moderate hotel and anticipate spending the majority of our 3day visit at the MK. What moderate hotel offers the quickest/easiest transportation to/fro MK?

Hi Valerie!  The time it takes to reach the Magic Kingdom park is just about equal from all the moderate resorts, Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans.  Without wait times it is about a 15-18 minute ride from any one of these locations.  Each resort is rather large so depending on where you are located you will most likely wait for a bus at one of the internal stops.

The easiest moderate resort to get to and from the Magic Kingdom is Fort Wilderness where you can rent the one bedroom cabins.  You will catch a boat for the 16 minute ride that drops you off directly in front of the park.  To reach the marina you also would need to catch the internal bus but they run quite often and it is really a very easy trek.  Fort Wilderness is a very different Disney experience and one that I have grown to love but certainly not necessarily for everyone.  I love the quiet and peacefulness and the unique amenities offered there over the hustle and bustle of the regular resorts.  You can check out all moderate resorts on line by clicking HERE.
