Hi, Amy!
My princess is 12 years old, so I know it takes a lot to impress at that age! Here are a few suggestions:
-Whispering Canyon Cafe in Wilderness Lodge. Super fun, and BOTTOMLESS milkshakes. Oh, yeah!
-Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater in Hollywood Studios. Sit in your own "convertible" and watch movies on the big screen. Awesome!
-Teppan Edo in Epcot (Japan) Your Teppan chef will prepare your meal in front of you
-Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom. Great selection, my kids' favorite quick service location
-Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. Nice for lunch, smaller restaurant, great to relax. Save room for the brownie sundae - my favorite!
-Les Chefs de France in Epcot (France) One of my favorite menus on property! If you go at lunchtime, ask for a table by the window to watch some of fun street performers.
-And one we must do every trip: Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. Although at this age they are out of the "character dining" stage, my kids still love it! . It is a great chance for your kids to meet Mickey, Goofy, and pals (and you can get awesome pictures) without having to wait in lines in the parks. This restaurant also has THE best dessert buffet around!
Wow, now I am hungry! If you need more suggestions,
let me know! So many great choices, you can't go wrong. Make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations
online or call (407)WDW-DINE. Have fun!
