Wer'e traveling to WDW Feb 28 - Mar 5. for our anniversary I rsvp an illuminations cruise. Is it $300 well spent or would you suggest spending it on something more special i'm hesitant b/c its only 1 hours long. we have the dinnig plan and la nouba tickets

Rochelle ,this is a tough one as there are so many options at Disney for celebrating and choosing what is best is difficult.  I have taken the Illuminations cruise many times and LOVE every one of them. You have a nice boat ride to the Hollywood Studios and then sit under the bridge at EPCOT to watch the  show without people pushing and shoving trying to get a better view. If you are staying at the Yacht, Beach, or Boardwalk resorts you can call private dining to add something to the cruise such as champagne and chocolate covered strawberries or perhaps a Mickey cake.  Sodas, water, and snacks are included so anything you add will be extra but it does make it special.  You can also contact the disney florist, and they can deliver something to the boat before you depart.
On the down side you need to remember that it is likely to be cool that evening at that time of year so be prepared with a wrap.  Unfortunately, you also never know what the weather is going to be and they will go out in rain but not storms.  The boats are partly covered so not all is bad when mother nature doesn't cooperate.
The cruise is a wonderful treat and Illuminations is unbelievable and my favorite show at Disney. Happy Anniversary!
