Traveling to WDW 4/2016 with 2 other families. most of us are doing the dining plan but 1 family isn't because theyre staying in time share. are we able to having dining reservations with them even tho they are paying separate?

    Hello there, Sandra!

Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. I'm more than happy to help!

Yes, you can absolutely make dining reservations with another party even though they are not on the Disney Dining Plan. Most servers typically ask at the beginning of the meal if you will be using the dining plan, so you can just let them know then that you would like separate checks. Keep in mind that gratuity is automatically added for parties of six or more at most table-service locations though.

I hope you have an amazing upcoming vacation and enjoy your time at Walt Disney World Resort. Make lots of memories!
