Traveling to WDW in the fall with a 2.5 and 1 year old and staying at AOA. Will be going to MK for most of the stay but I see that the resort is on the far opposite end MK. How long will the bus ride be? Should I reconsider our hotel? Thanks!!

    Hi, Lisa!
The really nice thing about Art of Animation (besides that it is brand new and looks awesome!) is that it will have its own bus.  This means you will be the one and only stop which I really like.  Your bus ride will be about 20 minutes to the Magic Kingdom, plus wait times.  Unless you change to one of the Deluxe Resorts right on the Resort Monorail line, your ride will be the same (give or take a few minutes) at any other of the resorts.  Remeber that your stroller(s) will need to be folded prior to boarding the buses.
If you decide to go a bit closer, opt for Port Orleans French Quarter (under 15 minute ride, Moderate Resort) or Grand Floridian (Magic Kingdom is just one monorail stop away from this Deluxe Resort.)
I really think you made a nice choice with the Art of Animation.  I hope you give it a try and I hope you enjoy the newest resort in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
