We are going to be traveling to WDW over Easter Break and staying at All Star Sports Resort. I have known some families that have stayed in the Pop Resort but no one from the All Star Sports. I am just curious on different people's views

Hi, Erin,   My family has stayed at the All-Star Sports resort twice, and it was fun!  It is very similar to Pop Century, as all Value Resorts are essentially the same with different themes.

Value resorts are not the most relaxing places to stay, since there are a lot of families and small kids.  Without kids, I probably would opt for a Moderate or Deluxe resort, but with kids it works out great.  There is a a huge food court, game room, pools, and great themeing throughout the resort.  My kids (ages 9 and 6) think it is super fun!

The rooms are small, but clean.  A preferred room will put you closer to the food court and bus stop, however it really isn't that much further of a walk if you have a standard room.

Busses can get crowded (especially over Easter Break, it will be crowded) but the busses do run regularly to keep everyone moving.  The busses will stop at all three All-Star properties, however Sports is their first stop so you have a better chance of getting a seat.

Have a great Spring Break vacation at All-Star Sports!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
