I will be traveling to WDW in early May with a 4 and 5 year old and a very young infant. I want to find the absolutely closest, most convenient resort to Magic Kingdom in order to make quick feeding trips back to the room with the infant. Suggestions?

    Hi Kelly,

The Magic Kingdom is an amazing place for kids of all ages, including big kids like you and me!  The Resort that is the closest to the Magic Kingdom with the least amount of travel time is the Contemporary Resort.  There are actually three methods of transportation that will get you to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom.  You can take the Resort Monorail and it is the next stop or you can take a boat.  Also you can actually walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort (it is a 5 to 10 minute walk).

The other two Resorts that are close to the Magic Kingdom are the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and the Polynesian Resort.  Keep in mind that these three Resorts are Deluxe Resorts so they will be more expensive per night than a Value or Moderate Resort.

I hope that your Walt Disney World vacation with your family is truly magical and that you make some amazing memories together!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
