Hi Laura,
I think the obvious would be the "Theme Parks" and "Water Parks", but I think I am going to suggest something that I think especially a 14 year old boy would
love to do. "
DisneyQuest" is a one-of-a-kind indoor interactive Theme Park (located in Downtown Disney, West Side), bursting with games on 5 floor levels and exploding with cutting-edge technology, virtual reality and 3-D experiences. No matter what your age, this is a fantastic experience where you can enjoy hours of fun!. One of our favorite parts was right at the beginning when you take the elevator (entry portal), Ventureport, leads to four different zones: the Explore Zone, the Score Zone, the Create Zone, and the Replay Zone. A few of our favorite attractions were: Pirates of the Caribbean - Battle for Buccaneer Gold, Virtual Jungle Cruise, and Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride, where you get to experience the "virtual Adventureland of realistic attractions" (these are "must see's and do's" in my opinion). Then there was the "Animation Academy" where we were able to have an instructor teach us how to Be a Disney animator!
One last thing, in case you are not aware, is that if you have the Water Park option on your Park Hopper Tickets, you can use one admission to DisneyQuest instead of one Water Park admission. We were almost out of time on our trip and didn't want to visit the Water Park the last day (due to us being sunburnt) so we went to "DisneyQuest" instead and that was well worth the experience. Have a magical trip and whatever you decide, Walt Disney World is the place to celebrate a birthday, and I am sure he will have a brilliant one!
Best wishes,
Brigitta
