I will be traveling to WDW on Delta airlines. I get free checked baggage on Delta. How can I ensure that I get free checked baggage at the airline resort check in desk?

    Hi Stacey,

You must be getting excited about your upcoming trip. It will be here before you know it!

I don't anticipate you will have any problem checking your luggage without fees at the Resort Airline Check-In desk. I am able to check bags with waived fees through another major airline and the nice people at the Resort Airline Check-In desks at Disney hotels know how to handle that situation. Just be sure to have any relevant credit card or frequent flyer number on hand so they can process your bags under the appropriate incentive program.

In the unlikely event that the person working at the Resort Airline Check-In desk does not know how to process your bags without fees, don't worry. Just pay the baggage fee and take your receipt to the Delta customer service folks at the airport. They will be able to issue a refund or tell you how to request one.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip,
    Jill
