We will be traveling to WDW Dec 28-jan 3 with our 2 yr old son and extended family. We had thought about staying at Art of Animation but was wondering if the higher cost of a monorail hotel would be a better option during this time period?

    Hi Kristila!

It really depends on your budget.  A deluxe resort can greatly increase your vacation budget, so you'll really need to crunch the numbers to see if it makes sense for you.

That being said, I absolutely LOVE the convenience of a monorail resort when traveling with little ones.  It's a snap for us to get our three on and off the monorail.  We also spend quite a bit of our time at Magic Kingdom, so it makes even more sense for us.  It's also a great idea as it cuts transportation time down as well, which is very smart during the holiday time period.

    Have a magical vacation!
