traveling to WDW for daughters 5th bday! (Our first time visiting!) 11/1- 11-8 Hope to see free dining that week!! Do ppl book table reservations then cancel later if it is not offered? Traveling with our 5,2 &1 any MUST DO's would be greatly appreciat

    Hi Kellie!

How exciting that you're planning your First Trip to Walt Disney World over your daughter's 5th Birthday! I can't think of a more magical way to celebrate the Birthday of a Princess!

Unfortunately, we can't predict in advance just when the magical Free Dining Offers will be! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you for early November as my sister is hoping for the same offer for that time of year as well! Keep in mind that another offer could become available that would be the equivalent in savings - be it 20-30% off resort rooms or even a 'Buy 4 Nights Get 3 Nights Free' offer!

You certainly may make Dining Reservations in advance if you wish, regardless of whether you've already purchased a Magic Your Way Vacation package, with or without Dining Plan and with or without a Special Offer. Even if you end up without a Free Dining Plan, you may decide to keep 'some' of your dining reservations and perhaps cancel a few of the 'extra' ones. Most Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance. Keep in mind that some reservations require a credit card guarantee, pre-payment or have a cancellation policy in effect of 24 or 48 hours notice. When making your Disney Dining Reservations online or by phone with a Cast Member, these policies will be reviewed with you.

For little ones, a few "must-do's" in terms of Dining that I'd highly recommend would include:
    - Chef Mickey's
    - Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for Princess Storybook Dining (I recommend breakfast here)
    - Crystal Palace to dine with Winnie The Pooh & Friends
    - Hollywood & Vine breakfast with the Disney Junior friends for Disney Junior Play 'n Dine

If you'd like additional recommendations or have more questions, please feel free to write me back. It would be my pleasure to assist you further with your planning Kellie!

Wishing you a simply Magical time planning your fall trip to Walt Disney World!
