    We will be traveling to WDW in August of 12.I just noticed the new value resort,Art of Animation.Will they have some rooms open at that time?It says they are accepting reservations,and the website gives prices for Easter 2012?We want the standard room.

    Hi Jennifer:

    The first "wing" of the hotly anticipated Disney Value Resort, Art of Animation, opens in May 2012.  So unless the Resort is already booked for your planned August 2012 vacation dates, the Resort is planned to be open for business during your vacation.  The other "wings" of the Resort should open throughout the remainder of the year, although schedules are subject to change.  Since it is anticipated that this Resort will be be a big hit, I would consider making reservations as soon as you are in a position to do so.
