Hi! I am traveling to WDW in April during Easter. What is the benefit to doing the Dining Plan? Looking to do lots of character breakfasts, etc. Thanks!

    Hi Kristen!

The 3 biggest benefits I can think of for choosing a Dining Plan are:

    • Savings
    • Options
    • Peace of Mind

    Savings
Although the up front cost is a little more, you're guaranteed to save getting a Dining Plan vs. paying out of pocket. For Quick Service, you'll save 20%, Standard Dining 30%, and Deluxe Dining 35% vs. paying out of pocket. And when you get a look at the receipts (table service meals for my family of 4 averaged $90+, and these were non-Signature restaurants) you'll see what I mean.

    Options
Once on a plan, you're entitled to 90% of the restaurants at the Parks and resorts. And if you're in a covered Dining Plan restaurant with the right plan to match,  you're entitled to most everything on the menu!

    Peace of Mind
Sure felt good knowing my dining was already taken care of, versus trying to budget it out and pull out my wallet each time. The good ole' Keys to the World Card feels like a Golden Ticket sometimes :-)

Well there you have it. Good food and good savings. If you can fit it in your budget, definitely go for one of them.

Good luck with all your Disney planning!
