Hello Frances! You and your children are just over a month away from your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You are asking a great planning question! You came to the right place to get the answers that you need!
There are so many great attractions for you and your young children to enjoy! The best way for you to narrow your search is to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Once you are at the site you will see some options across the top of the page. Click on "Parks and Tickets." Once you do that, you will see a drop down menu of the four Disney Parks. Once you select a park, the page for that park will appear. Scroll down until you see a headline that says "Attractions" and click it. This will take you to a page where you will see all of the attractions available in that park. From this page you may filter the attractions by "Age Interest." For your children, I would select "Preschoolers." A list of all of the attractions for preschool aged children will appear! You can repeat this process for each of the four parks!
Now that you have the technical way to find which attractions are best for preschoolers, I will offer a few favorites from my children (and mine) at our favorite park. At
Magic Kingdom Park you should be sure to check out Mickey's PhilharMagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Jungle Cruise, and "it's a small world." My kids (now teens) also enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion when they were little, but I let them know what to expect before we traveled. In fact, we talked about it so much before our vacation that they were excited to do those rides too!
Frances, I hope this helps with your planning for your April visit! Have a great time!
