Hi! We will be traveling to Walt Disney World in October and I will be about 32wks pregnant. I was wondering if it was ok to take a small folding camping stool for me to use at parades instead of having to stand or sit on the concrete? Thanks!

    Hi Randi!

Congratulations on the upcoming new member of your family. It is an exciting time for you and your family and I am sure you can't wait to be able to bring this new bundle to Walt Disney World for their first visit in the future.

Disney has to keep a strict policy on what guests can bring into the parks. The Restricted Items include folding chairs and stools. I understand your concern about being able to stand for parades and not being able to sit curbside. I strongly suggest you consider renting a wheelchair for that day or time in the park. This will allow you to have a comfortable seat while waiting for parades and fireworks. It is also not a bad idea to rent one for the entire day to give you a place to rest when needed. Although October is generally a great time for a visit the weather can remain quite warm so you won't want to tire out quickly.

October will be here before you know it so make sure you have your dining reservations in place and your other plans ready!
