We will be traveling to Walt Disney World in January 2018. My daughter will turn 12 during our stay. In regards to the meal plans, will she be considered a child or adult? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to hear that you are planning for a most MAGICAL Walt Disney World vacation!  Although 2018 is a year away, 2018 will be knocking on your door before you know it, so we need to get started so the planning can continue.

For both tickets and the Disney Dining Plan, ages 3-9 will fall under child prices and ages 10+ are considered adults.  Being that your princess will be 12 years old when you visit WDW, she will be paying the adult price for the DDP.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Since you are considering the DDP, please take some time to look through many of the great dining options.  Please note how many table credits are needed due to the fact that some require 2 dining service credits such as Cinderella's Royal Table.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
