Hello, Jeffrey!
My family made the trek to
Vancouver this summer to board the
Disney Wonder to Alaska. What an incredible itinerary! A highlight of our vacation was our glacier viewing day. Decks 9 and 10 come alive with activity. Hot chocolate and cozy blankets are available to keep everybody warm. Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for a picture opportunity with the glacier in the background. You might even see your favorite Disney Pals on deck enjoying the view!
Great job thinking ahead!
Drones may not be brought on board. It will be confiscated at the terminal and tagged; you can pick it up when you disembark. There’s usually a large table set up with other seized items. If you have a few items you’d like to leave behind, I did some research, and there is a baggage storage company conveniently located at the Canada Place Cruise Terminal. They offer to store both small and oversized items.
Vancouver is such a fun city to explore! My family really enjoyed the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. There is a free shuttle from Canada Place. What an amazing experience to walk above the trees – plus, the gift shop sells delicious homemade fudge. While exploring downtown, grab a warm drink from Tim Hortons and a freshly baked donut and watch one of Gastown's oldest working steam clocks. There are dozens of souvenir shops to pick up some maple candy for your family back home.
I’m happy you came to planDisney with your question. If we can help with anything else, please stop by again.
SEAS the adventure!
