Hello, I will be traveling using Spirit Airlines. Does the DME offer pick-up/drop-off services to this airline? Thank you, Alli

    Hi Allison,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow NJ Disney vacationer!

I frequently fly Spirit Airlines to Walt Disney World as it's the airline serving the airport closest to me. Who knows? Perhaps you'll spot me at the gate? I'm the happy-and-about-to-get-happier traveler sporting a Disney Vacation Club travel bag with Disney Parks Moms Panel tags.

Yes, I'm happy to share that Disney's Magical Express can carry you to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. I love the convenience of Disney's Magical Express. Riding it makes me feel like the magic begins the moment I step into the Ground Transportation area and see the big motor coach emblazoned with Mickey in his blue pilot cap.

You can use the Disney’s Magical Express Luggage Tags to have checked bags delivered to your Resort Hotel room. The day before you leave Walt Disney World, you'll receive your Magical Express departure time information. One great feature of Disney's Magical Express is the Resort Airline Check-In that lets you check your luggage and receive your boarding pass at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Spirit Airlines is not a participating airline for Resort Airline Check-In, so you'll want to check your luggage at the Spirit Airlines counter at the airport. Your Magical Express driver will assist you storing your luggage for your trip back to the airport. For boarding passes, I typically either check-in online or get a boarding pass when I check luggage at the airport.

Travel well and enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
