Disney Cruise Line sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to explore Alaska, how very exciting, and what an enriching opportunity this will be for your grandchildren!
For entry into Canada with your grandchildren who are minors, according to the "Government of Canada - Travelling with Minors to Canada" at canada.ca you will need a valid Passport for your grandchildren in addition to the following documentation for your grandchildren, quoted directly from the canada.ca website:
"The adult who is not the parent or legal guardian of the child should have written permission from the parents or guardians to supervise the child. The permission letter should include addresses and telephone numbers where the parents or legal guardian can be reached.
The letter does not need to be certified. A photocopy of the parents’ or legal guardian’s signed passports or national identity cards should be attached to the letter.
Note: The border services officer may not ask to see these documents when the child enters Canada. However, it is strongly recommended you bring them, in case that you are. The minor child will not be admitted to Canada if the officer is not convinced that the parents or legal guardian have authorized his stay." (Canada.ca)
As well, for authorization for minors travelling with people other than a parent or legal guardian with Disney Cruise Line, you will need to complete and have on hand the
Disney Cruise Line's - Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian to present.
Tips:James, please complete your Disney Cruise Line Online Check-In to complete necessary documentation, select your Port Arrival Time and register your grandchildren in the
Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs.
