Traveling from the UK - are there any early morning activities or even breakfast options for kids 5-14? A 5 hour time difference and excited kids might drive us and any neighbors mad!

Hello Lyn!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Walt Disney World activities start early in the morning and transportation to these activities usually requires more than 20 minutes, at least.  My family enjoys early morning activities and crowds.

When a Disney park opens at 8:00 am my family tries to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before to experience the lowest possible crowds and maybe a fun opening show.  It is very important to plan how to get there in time, whether by Disney bus service or car / taxi.

Character breakfast experiences are a wonderful family activity to start a day, with reservations since 7:30 am or 8:00 am (depending on restaurant).  For all Disney dining experiences is favorable to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.  Some of these dining experiences take place inside the parks!

Enjoying an early Disney family tour is also a great way to start a day.  There are active tours as the Wild Africa Trek, three different water tours at Epcot and recreational walking tours at all parks and at some resorts.  There are even surf lessons at Disney´s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park - before opening park.

There are plenty of activities to start a Disney day and remember to consider commuting time.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
