I will be traveling with my two smaller kids 38" and 43". They are 3 and 6. Can they ride together if it's a 2 seater ride and me behind them? Do we completely skip the 40" rides bc my 38" can't go?

Howdy, Loretta! Thanks so much for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help you prepare for your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort!

According to the Park Rules, anyone under the age of 7 years old must be accompanied by someone age 14 years old or older when boarding an attraction. The great news is that most attractions that commonly fit two adults in one row, should accommodate you and your two little ones. Additionally, there are lots of attractions that can fit many people in one attraction vehicle so you won’t have a problem riding together. Attractions without any height restrictions that should fit all of you include Mad Tea Party, “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Flik’s Flyers, Francis’ Ladybug Boogie, Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Golden Zephyr, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Mark Twain Riverboat, and the Disneyland Railroad.

There are a few others that might be a bit of a tighter squeeze or that you can hold your younger child on your lap, but as you can see, there are LOTS of attractions that you can enjoy as family. Add in all the characters you can meet and shows to see and you are in for oodles of fun! For attractions with 40” height requirements, unless you can travel with another adult, then unfortunately you will have to skip those attractions this time around. But since your 3-year-old is already 38” tall, I bet by your next trip he/she will be tall enough to ride the big rides!

I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
