I will be traveling with two small girls who are 5 & 7. Which hotels have the best pool with slides for younger children, and best suites? When is the best time to make an apt for Bibity Bobity Boo Salon? We will probably be traveling at the end of A

    Hi Susan!

Welcome back to the Moms Panel and I'm happy to offer suggestions. There are three categories of Disney Resort Hotels: Value, Moderate and Deluxe. Although Value resorts do not offer slides at the pool, I can attest to how much fun The Big Blue Pool is at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. With underwater speakers and the largest pool of any Disney Resort, it's a great option if watching your budget. In the moderate category, I love the pools at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. Everything about these two sister resorts is manageable ... Never too much walking, fun atmosphere, great pools with slides, and plentiful menu selections (beignets- yum!!!). In Deluxe, you can't go wrong. Each Resort Hotel offers outstanding pool amenities. Disney's Yacht & Beach Club offers Stormalong Bay with an awesome slide and a sand bottom pool. When my kids were 5 & 7, I liked a bit smaller of a pool than Stormalong Bay so I could keep a watchful eye on them. Disney's Grand Floridian and Disney's BoardWalk Inn provided that peace of mind. The old fashioned wooden roller coaster slide at the BoardWalk might be a huge hit with your kiddos!

I always recommend booking Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as early as possible. That way your princesses can enjoy the entire day transformed! If traveling in the hot months, consider a cooler dress than the official princess gown. Etsy.com has some ideas to keep your princesses cool all day long. (Sequin princess tank tops, etc). You'll want to call 407-WDW-STYLE for an appointment.

    Have a magical trip!
