Hi there, Lisa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How excited are you for your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World Resort?!?! I am sure you are eagerly anticipating all the fun that awaits you in the theme parks and the memories you will make with your little ones! Some of my best memories were when my boys were itty bitty and experiencing the magic alongside them was something else! I am so excited for you and this sure to be special vacation.
As you are aware, traveling with little Mouseketeers requires so much gear! Between snacks, water, diapers and all the necessities it certainly adds up! But, definitely better to be as prepared as possible because you never know what you might need and when you might need it! Definitely make sure to have plenty of snacks because snacks can help curb a meltdown (for kids and grown-ups, too)! Your room at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort will have a refrigerator with a small freezer section, but I cannot guarantee that it would refreeze an ice pack overnight. My suggestion would be to bring some Ziploc bags to fill with ice from the ice machines and then put the ice packs in with the loose ice overnight to speed up the freezing process. Since
loose ice is no longer permitted in the theme parks, just make sure to empty those bags in the morning before heading to the theme parks! Also make note of the
Baby Care Centers in the theme parks for a break throughout the day!
Wishing you and your family just the best time with some magical memories made!
Stephanie
