Hello! Traveling with my two kids, 7 and 9. Are there any rides we can’t go on because they’ll need an adult with them in the same seat?

    Hello Amber!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

There are so many things to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort! Your kids are going to have a magical time with exciting new experiences at a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, traveling by arial gondola, and having all the slam dunk fun at NBA Experience at Disney Springs.

As the mother of a 9-year-old who sometimes loves exploring on her own, and according to park rules, I am happy to share with you that children 7 and above are welcome to board an attraction on their own, which means your kids will not need an adult seated next to them, unless they do not feel comfortable and prefer to ride with you. Remember, however, that in order to enter a theme park, water park or NBA Experience, Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older.

Thank you for sending a new question our way, Amber! I hope this helps you while planning and that you stop by once again real soon!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
