I will be traveling with two kids ages 3 and 6 at the end of August. A friend suggested taking a Camelbak to carry water. Any other suggestions on what I could use so that we wouldn't need to always be in line for ice water?

Hi Jacquie! Summer is definitely the hot season in Florida and our biggest advice is to indeed keep hydrated. Using a camelback is an excellent suggestion from your friend as they are easy to carry and not heavy.  You do not want to be weighted down with a large thermos or something similar.

You can fill your camelback from any fountain around the parks and resorts. Check inside quick service locations as they will have water there as well.  If you need to have the ice water then go ahead and brace standing in line as you need to keep drinking to keep up your energy.  If you have an ice pack that can be used to keep the water as cool as possible bring that. The room refrigerators can only cool as they won't have the ability to freeze but it's better then nothing at all.

Enjoy this great family trip and stay hydrated!
