We will be traveling with two four year old boys to the Resort next spring. Do you have a Disney hotel recommendation that will allow for easy transportation to the Magic Kingdom, but also would be great fun for boys their age - maybe even a theme room?

    Hi Dana!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm glad you stopped by with your question!

As a mother of two boys, I have a couple of ideas that I think might work for you. First, I would suggest Disney's Wilderness Lodge. My children call this resort the "Lincoln Logs" because of the rustic, log cabin-like look of the resort. Magic Kingdom Park is a short boat or bus ride away, so you're never far from the fun. Silver Creek Springs Pool is a great place to spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun, and your boys will love the waterslide and children's splash area. For my children, the optional bunk bed rooms are the best part of this resort. Just be sure to have a plan for deciding which child gets the top bunk!

Another great option is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort has pirate-themed rooms that your boys would surely love! Also at this resort your little buccaneers can set sail on a pirate adventure cruise and explore the islands of the Caribbean. The main pool, Fuentes del Morro Pool, is a pirate's paradise complete with two waterslides and a shipwreck play area. Plus, Disney Transportation makes traveling to the parks a breeze since you're able to sit back and let someone else do the driving.

Regardless of where you choose to stay, I'm sure you'll have an amazing vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let us know.

    Happy planning!
