Hi! We will be traveling with our 2 toddlers this Sept and are super excited! We are feeling lucky that we will be able to catch the Electric Light Parade before it ends. I have booked the dessert dining for Wishes viewing, will we be back for the ELP?

    Hello again Stacy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If I understand your question correctly, you and your family are planning to attend the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and are wondering whether you’ll also be able to see the Main Street Electrical Parade from that location.

The answer to your question is: sorta, but not really. When we attended the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party earlier this year, we were able to see the parade go by, but it really was from a distance. While this allowed us to have a different “view” (one that I enjoyed because I like seeing shows/parades from further back) I really wouldn’t recommend it as a great view for your first or, potentially, your last time seeing the parade.

Unfortunately, depending on when Wishes nighttime spectacular is scheduled on the night of your Dessert Party, you may not be able to make it back to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant in time to get a good table for the show. If you want a closer view of the parade, and it’s only being shown BEFORE Wishes on the night of your Dessert Party, I would recommend scheduling at least two nights at Magic Kingdom Park during your family’s upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort on two different nights when you’ll be able to see both the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
