Hello fellow Disney fan! This sounds like such a fun Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home is fun for kids of all ages, but so much fun for the little ones!
When traveling with little ones and strollers, ease of transportation is important. I recommend booking a resort hotel along the
Monorail line. This includes Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These resorts allow for easy access to the Monorail. Guests along the Monorail line can ride directly to Magic Kingdom Park. Guests can also ride the Monorail to EPCOT with an easy transfer at the Ticket and Transportation Center.
Another good option is a resort hotel along the
Disney Skyliner line. These resorts include Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Resort. The Disney Skyliner whisks Guests away to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT! My kids love riding the Monorail and Disney Skyliner! It feels like the day's first ride before you’ve even entered one of the theme parks!
We have found the Disney Skyliner and Monorail to be easiest when traveling with strollers and little ones. While not always the easiest with strollers, Disney buses will carry Guests to all four theme parks! While our days of strollers are in the past (at least for now), we never hesitated to ride the Disney buses with strollers. They get you where you need to be and run to and from all parks!
Don’t forget to plan some downtime for those little Mouseketeers! We always found that a “resort day” by the pool was great for our kids! It was a good day to allow for sleeping in, naps, swimming, and just getting off our feet!
Dreams do come true!
