Hi Amy! I am so excited for you! It will be so magical for you to see Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your toddler!
You absolutely can bring snacks and drinks into the theme parks. Just be prepared as according to the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules, "all persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at the Park entrances and also within the Parks." You might consider putting snacks in clear plastic bags within the bags you take into the theme parks as it will be easier to view when your bags are being screened. (We used to store our snacks in small plastic boxes and that was just one more thing that had to be opened and viewed during screening.)
Be sure to book a
Character Dining experience. You will find a great selection of food and the Character experiences are magical! Your tiny tot will love it!!!
I want to share of couple of other tips as well. When you are out and about, be sure you have a small blanket or towel with you. Use it to cover your stroller when you are inside an attraction. The warm Florida sun can make the stroller very hot on your little one's skin. When not being used to cover the stroller, the blanket will be great for nap time or later in the evening.
The most important tip I can share with you is to seek out the Baby Care Centers. Located within all four theme parks, they are climate controlled and are the perfect place to change, feed or nurse your kiddo. In each of the Baby Care Centers, you will find a friendly Cast Member, private nursing room, changing room with tables, feeding area with highchairs, kitchen area with microwave, oven and sink, and a small shop with your basic baby needs such as diapers, baby food, wipes, and more.
Enjoy every magical moment and make sure you take oodles of pictures!
