Hello, Marisel! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sailing our way with your question.
A cruise with Captain Mickey is a wonderful family getaway. There is something for everyone to enjoy on board while you sail on a luxurious ship and visit incredible ports of call. Let’s dive in and determine your booking window for your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Your
Castaway Club membership level determines the booking window for Port Adventures and onboard activities. If it's your first Disney Cruise, you can start booking these experiences 75 days before sailing. In the case of your son, since he has sailed before as a Silver Member, he can add cruise activities 90 days before departure.
Marisel, if you're sharing the same stateroom, you can enjoy the perks associated with your son’s
Castaway Club level. If you are in separate staterooms, you will have to wait until your booking window opens.
I hope you’re able to reserve everything your heart desires. If you find that an activity or Port Adventure is sold old, don’t worry! Guests often change their plans. I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Cruise Line website for any cancellations. I was able to book a reservation at the sold-out adult-exclusive restaurant
Palo just by checking for cancellations. Sometimes, persistence pays off!
Please reach out if you have any more questions as embarkation day approaches. My pals and I are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
