I am traveling with teenage kids and my elderly parents (the will have batery pwoered scooters to get around) we are booked to stay at the caribean beach, in the moderate catagory is that the best place for us.

    Hi Ronald!

That is a very hard question to answer and there is no right answer.  It really is guest dependent and there are a lot of factors that impact the answer, including budget.  However, I though I would share my perspective.

With teenage children, I would definitely consider staying at a Disney Moderate Resort or above if the children want to spend any time in the pools.  Disney Value Resort pools do not have a water slide, while Disney Moderate Resorts and up do.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside, followed closely by Port Orleans French Quarter.  I think the other Disney Moderate Resorts are a little too spread out and hard to get around unless you have a car.

If your budget affords it, you might consider staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort.  Staying in a Disney Magic Kingdom Monorail Resort makes getting to and from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot easy via the monorails.  Your parents could drive their scooters right on to the monorail which is kind of nice in my opinion.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
