Traveling with 2 special needs individuals in Sept. One is 13, other is 17. If at the last moment one or the other decides not to go on a ride or transfer, can they stay in their wheelchairs and wait for us to ride, or does 1 of us need to stay with them

    Hi Helen,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!   If a passenger decides not to board a particular attraction just before boarding, they are directed to the nearest exit by Cast Members, where they can meet their party.  (When I was younger, I "chickened out" on Space Mountain about 100 times before I got the nerve to ride!)  Please note, there will not be a Cast Member to supervise the children traveling with you should they chose not to board, so the decision to allow them proceed (or help them to proceed) to an exit and then wait alone for the rest of your party would be up to you.  I would also consider that the exits to attractions can get crowded and "busy" as guests quickly leave one attraction and "bolt" toward another.

I hope you and your special needs friends have a magical trip!
