Hello, I will be traveling with a special needs child. I read somewhere that the resort parking fees would be waived if I have a handicap license plate or placard. Is this correct?

    Hello Kim!

All overnight parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels requires the payment of a parking fee. One difference that you might notice is the cost of valet parking at one of Disney's Deluxe Resort Hotels.  There is no charge for the use of valet if you have a valid handicap placard. However, you will still be assessed the cost of basic overnight parking.

Remember, as a Walt Disney World Resort hotel guest, you will not pay additional charges for parking at any of the theme parks.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help.

    See ya real soon,
