We will be traveling soon with 4 yr old twins, we are planning on taking our dbl jogger, but is that a good idea, with the buses?? How easy is it to get lg strollers on/off the buses?? There will only be the hubby & I, with 2 kids. Thanks!!!

Hi Crystal! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When we travel with our three kids, a double stroller is a must. We usually rent a stroller from an outside company and have it delivered to our resort hotel just so that we don’t have to drag our own with us. I have found that while using the Complimentary Resort Transportation, as long as I have an easy folding stroller (such as a citi mini jogger) it is relatively easy to travel on the bus with it. I like to take the jogging strollers because it does allow for more room for my kids to be comfortable. I am usually responsible for the kids on the bus, while my husband takes control over the stroller and diaper bag. The only time that I have found traveling with a double stroller difficult, is when I am coming back from a theme park and the kids both decide to fall asleep on the bus ride back! Then it is kind of a juggling act getting them and the stroller off of the bus!

Here are a couple of tips to make traveling with a double stroller easier: make sure to pack up all of the stuff that you store underneath the stroller before getting in line for the bus. This will make folding up the stroller easier later. Most of the waiting areas for the bus stops do accommodate a large stroller to be wheeled through so that the kids can relax while waiting in line. When the bus pulls up is when I start to fold up my stroller, remember I have already packed up all of my belongings so folding it should be easy! Strollers do need to be closed and folded on the bus for the safety of everyone! Lastly, my husband has found that sometimes if the bus is packed it is easier to stand with the stroller!

I hope you have a magical time!
