Hi Nichole,
Welcome to planDisney! First and foremost, I’d like to congratulate your team on making it to Nationals. I was a high school cheerleader and know how big of an accomplishment this is, so well done!
I’m glad you and the team already have your Theme Park tickets linked in the My Disney Experience mobile app and have your
Disney Park Pass reservations. As Princess Tiana says, you’re almost there.
There are two ways to go about this. One way is for the cheerleaders to create their own My Disney Experience accounts, if they are under 18, they’ll need a guardian’s permission. After they create their accounts and sign in, let’s move to your personal My Disney Experience account. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to add each of them to your “Family & Friends List”. From the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app, press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner, scroll to the bottom and select “My Profile”. Finally, select “Family & Friends List” and double check that each of the cheerleaders are on your list. After you confirm, you’ll want to click each of their names and select “Share Planning with (insert name here)”. Then you’ll be able to send an email to each of them from the app. After they accept the request, their Theme Park tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations will show up in their respective My Disney Experience mobile apps.
Your second option, if the cheerleaders have iPhones and Apple Watches, they can utilize
Disney MagicMobile Service. In your My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three lines in the lower right-hand corner of the home screen. From there, select the square titled “Disney MagicMobile”, you might need to sign-in to your account again. Then you will be taken to “Your Passes”, next select the “plus” button in the upper right-hand corner. From there you’ll, be able to create Disney MagicMobile passes for those in your “Family & Friends List”, share their passes with them via text, and download your Disney MagicMobile pass to your Apple Wallet. When going to the gate of one of the Theme Parks, you and your team just need to hold up your phones to the Mickey turnstile, like a regular ticket, and then you’ll be all set for the magic.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you continue preparing for Nationals at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. If you have
further planning questions, feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
