Hiya Jennifer!
Welcome aboard! I hope you are enjoying the final countdown to your cruise. I always think of a cute Disney Parks commercial from when I was a kid where the kids were "too excited to sleep" the night before their vacation...and the dad was, too!
Well done on getting reservations for
Palo! It's so sweet of you to want to share one with your son. I would recommend meeting with the Palo team when you board the ship and asking them to put your son's name on the reservation instead of yours, just so that everything is up to date when he arrives at the restaurant. It should be just fine! I've often been lucky enough to grab a Palo brunch reservation by visiting the dining team on embarkation day, so if you haven't tried that experience I highly recommend you ask about availability. They don't offer it on every cruise, but when they do it is spectacular!
As an experienced Disney Cruise Line sailor, you'll know that
Palo does have a dress code. Make sure you let your son know to pack accordingly!
Dress-casual is totally fine (think collared shirts, dress pants, and even nice jeans) so he doesn't need a suit if he wants to pack light.
There's nothing better than watching the adorable countdown timer in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app tick down to embarkation day, Jennifer! Wishing you smooth seas and lots of blue skies and sunshine!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
