I am traveling solo with a 6 year old and wonder need to cover two parks in one day. Which would be best, Epcot and Animal Kingdom Epcot and Hollywood Studios Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom Also, what is the mode of transportation between the parks

    Hi-Ya Peggy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to help you with your great question.

While an awesome question, this one is TOUGH. Not because I don't know the answer, but because anytime I'm asked to choose between parks, I feel like I'm choosing a favorite child. I go back and forth thinking of all my favorite attractions and experiences at each and it's so hard to choose!

Easily, I think with all of the construction for Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, Disney's Hollywood Studios is currently a half-day park. I'm sure that will soon change, but for now, I feel it's reasonable to see and do it most of it in that time frame. The tough one for me is between Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park because my family loves them both. I would probably choose to do a half-day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I would do Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning (hopefully getting to do Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple) and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the evening so that I could catch the new Rivers of Light. I'd keep a whole day open for Epcot. Between Future World and the World Showcase, there is so much ground to cover and things to do. Also, you will be visiting during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival with additional offerings and experiences available.

If I can help you plan out anymore of your days during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please let me know. Have a wonderful trip!

    Magical Wishes,
