Hello there, Danielle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and ask your Walt Disney World Resort question!
As someone that visits Walt Disney World Resort frequently and suffers from chronic illness, I have had many questions regarding services available for
Guests with disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort myself! I have been so pleased by the services and accommodations available to assist me and my family in having a magical visit. It really is wonderful to see the lengths Walt Disney World Resort goes to provide each and every Guest with a magical vacation!
The
Disney Parks Disability Access Service provides Guests with disabilities access to attractions during their visit to the theme parks. This program is only available for attractions inside of the theme parks, though, so it does not apply actually entering into the parks. To avoid the crowds associated with entering into the parks, I would recommend either arriving 30 minutes prior to the opening park or waiting until later in the day to arrive. In my experience, this tends to result in slightly lower crowds and less of a wait to make it into the park.
If you would like to discuss you and your family's specific situation with Disability Services, you can do so by calling (407) 560-2547 or by emailing disability.services@disneyparks.com. By doing this, you may be able to receive more suggestions for your specific situation!
I hope this information will assist you in planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
