hello, I am traveling with my sister who has mobility issues, we have rented a scooter for her but she is unable to stand for longer than a few minutes at a time, due to knee and ankle problems, how do i get her a guest assistance card, do we need a doctor

Hi Pauline!  I'm very happy that you and your sister will be traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Disney is great with providing guest services to guest with disabilities who wish to experience the best that WDW has to offer.  In order to obtain a Guest Assistance Card, you will need to head to Guest Relations at the theme parks and speak to a cast member with respect to your specific needs.  It always helps to have a doctors note noting the mobility issues in question.  In that way the Cast Member will be able to provide you with the GAC that is best suited for your sister.  The GAC is good for the entire duration of your stay and will be honored at all WDW theme parks.

Hope this helps you plan a magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
