Ahoy, S!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your frightfully fun Halloween on the High Seas voyage is just weeks away! Captain Mickey and his friends will be dressed in their "boo"tiful costumes, ready to party with you and your family! I'm sure you already have your Halloween costumes ready, but if you have time, check out the
Packing List for Disney Cruises for ideas of other items to bring along with you!
At this time, U.S. citizens embarking on Disney Cruise Line itineraries leaving from a U.S. port and returning to the same U.S. port do not need to have a valid passport to sail. Instead, Guests may bring a government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license) and a state-issued birth certificate as proof of U.S. citizenship. Children under the age of 16, who are traveling with their parents, may bring a state-issued birth certificate. With that being said, Disney Cruise Line highly recommends that all Guests travel with valid U.S. passports. Before your Halloween adventure, please take a look at the
Passports & Travel Documentation information on Disney Cruise Line's website so you'll be sure to have all the required documentation for your family.
My family always brings our passports along with us when we sail the high seas with Captain Mickey. In the unlikely event of a family or medical emergency while visiting another country, having our passports will ensure that we are able to fly home with no delay. If you already have passports for your family, I recommend bringing them!
Thanks so much for sailing by with this excellent question! If you have any more questions before your upcoming cruise, please come back and visit us again!
