Traveling with a senior citizen, my question is if they should not feel well and needs to miss a table service meal on the dining plan, can we take their meal to go? Or do we get charged for them missing it?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Jennifer ~

I am happy to see that you are planning ahead to meet everyone's specific needs in your party. I have a special needs son who can sometimes tire easily. There have been times that we have had advanced dining reservations and he doesn't feel well. One of us will take him back to the room while the other members of our dining party go to our meal. They are usually very understanding under the circumstances and we are not charged.

Having said that, I can't personally guarantee that you won't be charged. However, in my experience, when the other members of our party were able to go to our table service meal and we explained the situation, we were not charged. A lot of dining locations do have to go boxes so that may be an option as well.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
