We are traveling from seattle to WDW on 11/22 and staying till 12/1 then going on the cruise what is the weather really like that time of year and is the pirates and pals cruise still going on then.

    Ahoy there Noelle,

How exciting that you're going to WDW & on a cruise! The average highs in Nov are typically in the mid to upper 70s & average lows are in the mid-50s. The temps may drop a little as Nov progresses & you get into Dec. The average rainfall is 2.30 inches in Nov & that drops slightly in Dec Keep in mind these are averages. I was there the 2nd week of Dec last year & it was super cold for Central Florida. A couple of days prior to your trip, go to www.weather.com & check the 10-day forecast just in case there is some out of the ordinary weather pattern moving through.

I am a huge fan of the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. Weather permitting it is held year round. Normal operating hours are Friday through Monday, but there certain times of the year that it sails seven nights a week.

This is a great way to watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom (MK) with little ones. You don't have to stake out a good place an hour or so before the fireworks. You get your own seat with a great view & aren't in the sea of people in the MK. The boom from the fireworks isn't as loud so it doesn't frighten children as easily. Keep in mind, you are typically out on the water for approximately an hour & it may get a little chilly that time of the year so make sure you dress accordingly. You're welcome to bring a blanket if you think it will make you more comfortable. This has become a very popular experience (for great reasons). I'd recommend making reservations as soon as the 180 day window opens by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
