We are traveling by RV and planning to visit the Magic Kingdom theme park on Jan’ 31 and to stay in Wilderness campground during the night of Jan’ 30-31. However, in this case we need to check out on Jan’ 31 11:00 AM - where can we leave the RV then?

Hey there, Ilya, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're setting off on a fantastic road trip adventure in the next few days, so let's get you on the right path to a magical stop at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Ilya, the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect destination for families traveling by RV. Be sure to check out some of the unique recreation experiences available here, like Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing Along or visiting with the horses that call Tri-Circle-D Ranch their home. You can even take a carriage ride around the resort if you have the time!

Since you will be checking out and then spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park, I'm happy to share that all four of the Disney theme parks offer parking options for oversized vehicles, including RVs, for an additional fee. You can find all the details for parking online here! You should have no problem checking out and relocating your vehicle to the Magic Kingdom parking area while you enjoy the park.

If you're looking for some additional thrills while at Magic Kingdom, be sure to set your alarm early to join the Virtual Queue for an opportunity to experience the newest attraction at the park - TRON Lightcycle/Run! To join the queue, you will need to be logged into your My Disney Experience mobile app and ready to go just before this time. If you aren't successful at 7 AM, you can try again from inside the park at 1 PM. It's definitely worth the experience!

One more tip to help plan your day; when you park for Magic Kingdom, you will be at the Ticket and Transportation Center. From here, you will have the choice to take either the Disney Monorail or Disney Ferryboat to the park, so it's a good idea to allow for a little extra travel time if you are trying to make the most of your day! Disney Resort hotel guests like yourself will also have the benefit of Early Theme Park Entry, which gives you access to enter the park 30 minutes before posted opening time. This is my favorite resort benefit because it allows us to get one or two attractions done before the crowds arrive!

Ilya, I hope this has been helpful and you have an amazing stay at Fort Wilderness and a magical day at Magic Kingdom! Come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else!
