Hi Sylvia!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to welcome our European guests to planDisney, and I'm very happy to help you with this question.
Coming from the UK myself, I always bring a debit card on my holidays! The temptation to buy all those gorgeous souvenirs, and maybe just one more delicious snack, is real! Loading a dedicated debit card with US$ takes care of all our spending needs, and at the same time avoids additional charges on a credit card. Maestro debit card is accepted at Walt Disney World, and I recommend you link that card to your hotel account when you arrive. That way, your credit card won't be automatically charged if you forget to visit the Front Desk to settle your account every few days.
I often purchase a
Disney Gift Card and charge everything to that - these are accepted in stores and restaurants across the whole Resort, at the theme parks, water parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney-owned locations at Disney Springs. Some other locations also accept Disney Gift Cards but please check at the till.
You can check your gift card balance on the website here.Disney's Pop Century Resort is in the enviable position of being on the
Disney Skyliner route. Enjoy your sky-high views as you are whisked along to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios - it's such a great way to travel!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
Sue
