We will be traveling to the Pop Century Resort June 11-15 with my 2.5 year old son. What are the pool rules with toddlers? Can I bring his arm "swimmies" or any floatation devices for him? I seem to recall a rule at Disney that kids have to wear

    Hi Kelly!

My three boys are splashing around in the Hippy Dippy pool with the rest of my family, while I am back in the room spreading Disney magic!  It is almost midnight and my family will be out there until closing time - I swear, they will grow fins soon!   While your child will be allowed to wear arm "floaties" if you would like, I would strongly suggest against them.  Not to scare you, but I have heard terrible stories about those things.  I would certainly take advantage of the free life vests that are provided at all of Disney's main pool areas.  They are Coast Guard approved and are the safest thing, next to being able to swim.  The pools at Disney can be VERY overwhelming and unless your child is in your arms the entire time, or is able to swim, I would stick with the vests.

That being said, we love spending tons of time at the pools and lately I can't seem to get my boys to leave them!  Have a fantastic vacation!
