Howdy Jessica!
Welcome back to
planDisney! I am always excited to see guests returning to planDisney with another great question! Thank you for sharing your question with us!
I see that you will be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort in the merry, merry month of May! It looks like you are traveling with a guest that will need to utilize the
Disability Access Service! I have great news for you! Since
Disney’s Genie Service has been added to the
My Disney Experience mobile app, many things have changed! Now, you can pre-register and “
Request a Live Video Chat” two to 30 days before your first theme park day! If you decide to pre-register via video chat, the Cast Member will be able to help you with your registration process and schedule your first two attraction return times for your first day! If you decide to wait until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, a Cast Member in Guest Relations will register you for this service and assign your first return time for your first attraction.
With the new Disney’s Genie Service, Disability return times can be made through the My Disney Experience mobile app! Once in the theme park, open up the My Disney Experience mobile app, and click on the more options in the bottom right-hand corner. After you choose this option, you will see the Disability Access Service button! This is where you will schedule each of your return times for the duration of your visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth!” I have placed several links in the highlighted text above so that you can access several handy websites to learn about all the new features of the Disability Access Service!
As you continue to plan your visit to Neverland, check the
Disney Parks Blog to stay up-to-date on everything scheduled in the months to come! If you have any questions as you register for the Disability Access Service or any other planning questions, please come back to planDisney! We look forward to helping you with all your planning questions so that your vacation will be filled with what “Dreams are made of,” Jessica!
See Ya Real Soon,
Tamela
